Plant Maintenance & Process Optimisation Lead

Job summary

Based at our Ballitore site in County Kildare, Tirlán is seeking a Maintenance and Process Manager to lead maintenance and process optimisation, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable plant operation.

You will manage reactive and preventive maintenance through internal teams, contractors and service providers, drive equipment reliability and plant performance, and ensure compliance with GMP and health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in food manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Degree in Engineering/Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance strategy and drive preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Manage maintenance technician team, budget and training requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and GMP requirements.
• Maintain ownership of CMMS PEMAC and maintenance documentation.
• Lead process optimisation across manufacturing operations and act as site SME for key production processes.
• Develop PIRs and support design and implementation of capital projects.
