Modern Tyre Ireland (Retail) Limited in Wexford Town is seeking a Pitstop Mechanic with hands-on car maintenance and tyre fitting experience. You will identify faults, fit parts, and perform full inspections before hand-over to customers.

A driving licence is essential and at least 1 year in a similar role is required. You will work as part of a team in a busy workshop, maintain safe, clean workspaces and develop skills through ATA/SMT accredited training offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Driving Licence essential.
• Mechanics tool kit.
• Knowledge of iPads would be an advantage.
• Some experience in diagnostics and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Ability to identify faults and repair components & fit new and manufactured parts.
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
• Recording all relevant details, completing records etc.
• Understanding of diagnostics and fault finding
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Experience in Tyre fitting
