Job summary

Modern Tyres Ireland (Retail) Limited is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to service and repair vehicles on site at Carlow, Ireland. The role requires the ability to work on all brands and to perform diagnostics and fault finding with a hands-on approach.

You’ll have at least 1 year in a similar role, a full driving licence, and proven teamwork skills. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with a competitive negotiable salary and opportunities for ATA/SMT training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Full Current Driving Licence essential.
• Ability to identify faults and repair components and fit new parts.
• Experience in Tyre fitting an advantage.

Job summary: The Motor Mechanic is responsible for the full maintenance and repairs of the vehicle. You must have the ability to work on all brands of motor vehicles.

Key Tasks Required:

• Ability to identify faults and repair components & fit new and manufactured parts.
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
• Understanding of diagnostics and fault finding
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Experience in Tyre fitting an advantage
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Full Current Driving Licence essential
• Experience in both Diagnostics and Fault Finding
