Job summary

KSK Rathmor Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join its engineering team in Bridgend, Donegal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the skilled installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of pipework and associated systems in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Main Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, piping layouts and specifications; measuring, cutting, preparing, fitting and assembling pipework; installing pipes, valves, flanges, supports and associated components; accurately aligning and positioning pipe systems prior to connection; carrying out modifications, maintenance and repairs to existing pipework; inspecting completed work to ensure correct installation and quality; using pipe fitting tools and equipment safely and effectively; working closely with welders, fabricators and other engineering personnel to meet project requirements; and complying with all workplace health and safety procedures.

Applicants should have substantial practical experience as a Pipe Fitter within an engineering, mechanical or industrial environment. Candidates should have strong pipe fitting and installation skills, the ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and piping specifications, and experience working with relevant tools, equipment and pipework components. Applicants should be reliable, safety-conscious and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of an engineering team.

Salary: €59,846.28 to €68,749.58 per annum, depending on experience and skills, based on a 39-hour working week. The minimum base rate is €29.51 per hour.
