Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Production Brewer to operate and optimise the Pilot Brewery at St James Gate, Dublin. You will oversee brewing, fermentation and packaging tasks, deliver pilot trials and scale-up activities, and ensure safety, quality and compliance.

You will collaborate with the Pilot Plant Manager and Head Brewer to support beer innovation, renovation and commercialisation programmes while maintaining high housekeeping and GMP standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Brewing Science, Food Science, Biological Sciences or related technical field preferred.
• IBD Certificate or Diploma in Brewing desirable.
• HACCP and Food Safety training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day brewing, fermentation and packaging operations in the Pilot Brewery.
• Support pilot trials, liquid development and scale-up activities.
• Provide brewing expertise and maintain records with safety and quality as priority.
• Support maintenance and calibration of equipment and GMP standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable innovation and product readiness.
