Job summary

Roadhogs Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Pig Farm Manager for an indoor unit in County Tipperary. You will oversee the entire pig production cycle, manage staff, monitor welfare, and ensure production targets are met.

Salary is €45,000–€50,000 DOE. 40 hours per week, with every other weekend. Accommodation is included (twin-unit lodge), PPE provided, training offered, and opportunities to develop leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Farming experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of pig health management and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire pig production cycle.
• Plan and execute production schedules to maximise productivity while maintaining animal welfare.
• Monitor pig health and growth to meet production goals.
• Ensure systems are in place to support pig growth and welfare.
• Lead and develop farm staff to follow safety and welfare standards.
