UPMC Ireland is seeking a Junior Physiotherapist to join our Sports Medicine team at the Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin. You will work alongside senior physiotherapists, sports physicians, and orthopaedic consultants to deliver high-quality rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals.

Formación

• BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy is required.
• CORU registration is required.
• 2 years post graduate experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a team is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
• Assist in post-operative rehabilitation programmes.
• Support return-to-play planning for athletes.
• Contribute to injury prevention and performance programmes.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in CPD and in-service training sessions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
• Adhere to GDPR, Health and safety, and incident reporting policies.

Location: Sports Surgery Clinic

Job type: Permanent (38 hours per week)

Overview of role:

ThePhysiotherapist will work alongside senior physiotherapists, sports physicians,and orthopaedic consultants to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services toathletes and active individuals. This role offers excellent mentoring,professional development, and exposure to complex sports injury cases in ahigh-performance clinical environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based assessment andtreatment of musculoskeletal and sports injuries
• Assist in post-operative rehabilitationprogrammes
• Support return-to-play planning for athletes
• Contribute to injury prevention andperformance programmes
• Work collaboratively within amultidisciplinary team
• Participate in CPD and in-service training sessions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation inline with professional standards
• Adhere to all UPMC policies including (but not limited to) GDPR compliance, Health and safety and incident reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

• BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
• CORU registration
• 2 years post graduate experience in sports andmusculoskeletal physiotherapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills
• Ability to work effectively within a team

DesirableCriteria:

• Experience working with athletesor sports teams
• Membership of the Irish Society ofChartered Physiotherapists (ISCP)
