Job summary

Trinity College Dublin invites applications for a PhD Studentship in Infant Cognitive Neuroscience. The post, supervised by Professor Cusack, funds a four-year stipend (€25,000 per year) plus fees and conference travel, with hybrid work from Trinity College Dublin in Dublin 2, Ireland.

You will gain training across neuroimaging (fMRI/OPM-MEG), computational modelling and DNNs, contributing to InfantNeuroAI research and manuscript preparation within a vibrant lab.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, cognitive science, computer science or a relevant field.
  • Master’s degree in developmental science, cognitive neuroscience, computer science or a relevant field is desirable.
  • Experience with neuroimaging methods and AI modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to conduct original research.
  • Apply robust methods to produce high-quality science and maintain ethical standards.
  • Develop expertise in neuroimaging analysis and AI modelling.
  • Present work at local, national and international meetings.
  • Write clear, impactful manuscripts and supervise undergraduate researchers.
