Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy in Malahide is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. You will prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately, manage patient records, and support stock control to keep the dispensary running smoothly.

We offer two contract options: 40 hours per week permanent, or 36 hours per week for 6 months via FTC, with the chance to grow within the PHX Ireland network and our store team.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Use attention to detail to prepare and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Ensure compliance and efficient handling of prescription records and monthly PCRS claims.
• Build strong relationships by providing friendly, expert service to patients.
• Take ownership of dispensary stock, expiry date checks, orders and ongoing operations.
• Show initiative through personal development and team projects.
