Job summary

Uniphar Group at Hickeys Phibsboro in Dublin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 16-hour-per-week permanent position, aligned with store hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday. You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under pharmacist supervision, and help manage stock in a busy dispensary. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply; experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, as is familiarity with McLernons MPS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Phibsboro.

This is a 16** -hour permanent position with the store’s opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to10 p.m. on Sunday.**

The team currently comprises a Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 5 Technicians.
