Job summary

Uniphar Group’s Hickey’s Finglas West store is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, permanent position. Work the 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

schedule, Monday to Saturday, with Sunday closed, in a busy dispensary under a supervising Pharmacist. You will prepare and dispense medicines, manage stock, build blister packs, and support the Pharmacist. New qualified technicians welcome; experience in a busy dispensary and familiarity with McLernons MPS are advantageous; IPU course or Higher Certificate

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary preferred; newly qualified technicians welcome.
• Familiarity with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickey’s Finglas West.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position with the store’s opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to6p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist,1 Relief Pharmacist and 5 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.
