Job summary

O'Brien's Allcare Pharmacy Mullingar is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time, 32-hour-week role in Mullingar. The successful candidate will dispense medicines under the supervision of the Pharmacist, manage stock, and prepare blister packs within a busy dispensary. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Benefits include uniform provided, bike-to-work scheme, and staff discounts; the store operates 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Saturday, closed Sundays.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
