Job summary

Unipharmedtech through Hickey's Cappagh, Finglas Pharmacy in Dublin seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, every 3rd Sat). The role supports a busy dispensary, preparing and dispensing medicines under supervision, and managing stock and claims. Applicants with IPU course or Higher Certificate have an advantage.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome. McLernons MPS experience is a plus, and the store offers uniform, staff discounts, and a bike-to-work scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary
