Job summary

Hickey's Pharmacy in Monkstown, Ireland, invites a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This 32-hour, four‑day-per‑week permanent role involves preparing and dispensing medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist, while maintaining care and accuracy in a busy dispensary.

Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, as is McLernons MPS. Newly qualified technicians are welcome; IPU Pharmacy Technician course or a Higher Certificate are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
