Job summary

Allcare Hughes Pharmacy in Clane is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team on a 24-hour permanent basis. The role supports dispensing under the supervision of the Pharmacist, with hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays.

We welcome newly qualified technicians and those with experience in dispensing. McLernons MPS experience and related coursework are advantageous. Competitive hourly rates and staff benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
