Job summary

Flynn's Life Pharmacy Ennis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position with store hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9:30 a.m.

to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; we are closed on Sunday. Be accurate with excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist, controlling stock levels, ordering medicines, and processing blister packs.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
