Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a busy Cork area pharmacy in Blarney, just 20 minutes from Cork City Centre. You’ll dispense medicines using the MPS system, provide a safe and efficient service, and help maintain stock levels in a friendly, supportive team.

The role is full-time with no weekends, bank holidays, or late nights. Training will be available and the store has free parking beside the premises.

Qualifications

• Irish Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies is required.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in Ireland is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to customers per pharmacy guidelines.
• Ensure safe delivery of medicines to customers.
• Engage with customers to foster loyalty and confidence.
• Maintain stock levels and correct storage of dated products.

Job description

Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a pharmacy based in Blarney, Co. Cork (~20min drive from Cork City Centre).

You’ll be supported by an excellent team as you help manage a steady flow of customers, using the MPS dispensing system.

Free parking is available beside the store.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 5 days per week (40 hours), with no weekends, bank holidays, or late nights required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers in accordance with the pharmacy guidelines
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers
• Engage actively with customers to encourage customer loyalty and confidence
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in the Pharmacy ensuring the correct storage and monitoring of dated products
• Training will be available
• Any other duties required
