Job summary

Uniphar Group invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician at McCauley Poppyfields Pharmacy in Clonmel. The role is a 32-hour fixed-term position with a 4-day week, offering competitive hourly rates and a supportive team environment.

The store currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support, and 2 Technicians, with opportunities to work with McLernons MPS and benefit from staff discounts and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is advantageous
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies advantageous
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by store.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
