Job summary

Uniphar's Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 32-hour permanent role. The store team includes a Supervising Pharmacist, a Relief Pharmacist, 2 Technicians and 3 Healthcare Advisors.

Responsibilities include accurate dispensing under supervision, stock control, blister pack prep, and claims processing, with support to a busy dispensary. New graduates welcome; IPU/Higher Certificate advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate coursework is beneficial.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as required.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
