Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy in Wicklow is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, permanent role at Charlesland SC. You will dispense prescriptions accurately and provide over-the-counter guidance to patients, ensuring compliant records and smooth day-to-day operations.

The Essential Criteria require an IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies, with a commitment to high-quality, patient-focused service across the McCabes Pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate dispensing and records.
• Course or certificate in Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Experience with dispensing and customer assistance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Manage prescription records and monthly HSE PCRS claims.
• Provide OTC advice and support to patients.
• Build relationships and deliver friendly, expert service.
• Manage dispensary stock and expiry checks.
