Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy, part of PHX Ireland, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately, maintain records, and support stock management with a focus on patient care.

We value attention to detail, friendly service, and a proactive attitude. IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is desirable, with training provided as part of your development.

Qualifications

• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies required.
• Experience in dispensing prescriptions is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Manage prescription records and monthly HSE PCRS claims.
• Build strong relationships and provide friendly, expert service.
• Take ownership: manage dispensary stock, expiry dates, and orders.
• Show initiative: personal development, team projects, and new ideas.
