Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy in Newcastle is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and delivering friendly, expert service to our customers.

The role emphasizes compliance, stock management, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive pharmacy environment with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates accuracy in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining records.
• Good communication with patients and colleagues to ensure safety and care.
• Familiar with professional standards and regulatory requirements in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Manage prescription records and monthly HSE PCRS claims for compliance.
• Provide friendly, expert service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Take ownership of dispensary stock, expiry checks, orders, and smooth operations.
• Engage in personal development, team projects, and new ideas.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in our Newcastle pharmacy.

This is a permanent, full time position, working 40hrs per week.
