Point of Care is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician in Ireland to support processing, dispensing and labeling of prescribed medicines. The role operates 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, within established procedures and SOPs.

You will handle technical prescription processing, ensure accuracy of patient and prescriber details, maintain dispensing records, and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure safe, traceable medication supply across the pathway.

Responsabilidades

• Support the accurate processing, dispensing, labelling, assembly and supply of prescribed medicinal products.
• Undertake technical prescription and medication-order processing with complete accuracy.
• Perform technical calculations, quantity reconciliation and product selection per prescriptions and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and full traceability of medicinal products.
• Support pharmacist-led accuracy-checking processes and complete documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate to the pharmacist.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and patient requirements with stock documentation.
• Maintain product traceability and temperature-control records.
• Escalate supply interruptions or product quality concerns promptly.
• Support IV antibiotic pathways, including sourcing and delivery coordination.
• Liaise with pharmacists regarding changes affecting medication supply.

Full-time role - 9 am-6 pm, Monday to Friday

• Support the accurate processing, dispensing, labelling, assembly and supply of prescribed medicinal products within the scope of practice and established pharmacy procedures.
• Undertake technical prescription and medication-order processing, ensuring completeness and accuracy of patient, prescriber, product, strength, dosage form, quantity and supply information.
• Perform technical calculations, quantity reconciliation and product selection accurately in accordance with prescriptions, protocols and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and ensure full traceability of medicinal products throughout the supply pathway.
• Support pharmacist-led clinical and final accuracy-checking processes by ensuring that all required documentation, product information and dispensing records are complete and available.
• Identify prescription, stock, supply or documentation discrepancies and escalate appropriately to the responsible pharmacist.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, patient requirements, stock and associated documentation.
• Maintain appropriate product traceability and temperature-control documentation throughout the supply pathway.
• Escalate discrepancies, supply interruptions or product-quality concerns promptly.
• Support the technical coordination of IV antibiotic medication pathways, including prescription/order processing, product sourcing, supply scheduling and delivery coordination.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of IV medicines supplied through hospital, outpatient or homecare pathways.
• Liaise with pharmacists and authorised healthcare professionals regarding changes affecting medication supply.
