MSD Ireland in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, is seeking a Development Engineer to lead solid dosage form process development and technology transfer to production. You will drive scale-up, validation, and regulatory-aligned transfers across IPTs, R&D, and manufacturing.

Reporting to the CDS OSD Commercialisation Technical Lead, you will build cross-functional teams, deliver NPI programs, and maintain cGMP compliance while pursuing continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualificações

• BSc, BEng or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, or related discipline. An MSc/ PhD is beneficial.
• Minimum 6 years post-graduate pharma process development, manufacturing and tech transfer experience.
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP, regulatory expectations and QRM.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, scale-up, and transfer of new OSD manufacturing processes.
• Oversee cross-functional teams for QRA, investigations, safety assessments, and process improvements.
• Author and lead validation programs to meet cGMP and regulatory expectations.
• Provide technical troubleshooting across active manufacturing processes and raw materials.
• Drive project management for new product introductions and technology transfers.
• Pioneer Lean Six Sigma based process improvements and continuous optimization.
• Ensure engineering operations comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
