Job summary

PCO Manufacturing Ltd. in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, is seeking a General Operative to join the pharmaceutical wholesaler and manufacturer’s Goods Inwards, Production, and Dispatch teams. The role emphasizes GMP/GDP compliance, accuracy, and patient safety in a dynamic setting.

You will support documentation, labeling, and material handling while adhering to EU FMD requirements and company SOPs. Training is provided; right to work in Ireland is required.

Qualifications

• Professional level of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Warehousing/manufacturing experience is a plus; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and free from unnecessary materials.
• Handle materials and products according to written procedures and record work.
• Ensure materials containers and areas are identified to match processing stage.
• Report damage or issues to supervisor immediately.
• Avoid deviations from instructions; report any deviation promptly.
• Complete records clearly and per good documentation practices.
• Follow procedures for detection of falsified medicines and EU FMD safety features.
• Report issues or discrepancies to management.
• Maintain good communication within a fast-moving team.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and training manuals.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
