Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital and expense projects in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will oversee Utilities, Automation/IT, Manufacturing, Laboratory and Process Systems from concept to closeout.

You will manage multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery to safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle from design to handover.
• Strong planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Biologics manufacturing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through the full lifecycle from concept development to commissioning and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with approved scope.
• Develop business cases, budgets, cost estimates and project execution strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, resources, risks and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Oversee procurement activities, including equipment specifications and contractor management.
• Support commissioning, qualification and validation activities where required.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.
• Mentor junior project managers and support the development of the wider project team.
• Complete project closeout documentation and lessons learned activities.
