Job summary

Rockwell Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to oversee a major mechanical piping project in the Cork region on a permanent, full-time basis. The role requires leading a team, coordinating pipe install and fabrication, and handling stainless steel pipework in a pharmaceutical setting.

Applicants should have 3+ years in supervision within Pharma/Life Science, 10+ years on mechanical/plumbing installs, and a Level 6 QQI Mechanical Craft Practice certificate or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervision role in Pharma/Life Science with emphasis on safety and quality.
• 10+ years on mechanical/plumbing install projects.
• Level 6 QQI Mechanical Craft Practice or equivalent trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a supervision team on mechanical pipe installation projects.
• Coordinate pipe installation, fabrication/install, and isometrics.
• Work with stainless steel pipework in pharma environments.
• Oversee assembly, laying, installing and maintaining pipes.
• Read and interpret drawings with a strong focus on safety.
