Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Trading & Parallel Imports Manager to lead the sourcing strategy for all parallel-imported pharmaceutical products in Ireland. The role focuses on supplier relationships across the EEA, regulatory compliance, and margin growth, supporting Uniphar as the supplier of choice in the Irish market.

You will oversee cross-functional collaboration with Retail, QA, Finance and Logistics teams, manage a Junior Buyer, and drive competitive pricing and availability across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical procurement, ideally with parallel imports.
• Strong understanding of EU pharmaceutical regulations and supply chains.
• Proven negotiation skills and supplier-network management.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the parallel import procurement strategy across medicinal categories.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, rebates, and long-term supply agreements with EU partners.
• Oversee demand forecasting, stock planning and supply continuity for PI products and exports.
• Lead and develop a Junior Buyer; set KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
