Job summary

Pfizer Ireland in Dublin seeks an Engineering Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and reliability activities across utilities, buildings, and equipment. The role involves project execution, equipment installation/modification, and collaboration with Production and Quality teams.

You will apply RCFA methods, PM/PdM optimization and GMP knowledge, with hands-on troubleshooting and strong documentation to drive safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Engineering/Technical Discipline or Electrical/Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Engineering/Maintenance Technician role within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Strong knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GMP-related documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to completion of projects, manage own time to meet targets and develop short-term work activity plans.
• Provide engineering support to develop scope of work, project execution plans, and related engineering studies for equipment installation/modification.
• Provide operational support as needed and review preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Review maintenance history and manage technical writing and document review.
• Participate in RCFA investigations and support reliability plans and cross-functional troubleshooting.
