Job summary

Veolia Ireland is hiring an Instrument & Controls Technician at Blanchardstown, Dublin. You will support safe, compliant operation of site utilities, HVAC, and control assets in a regulated pharmaceutical setting.

You will perform maintenance, calibration, faults, and improvements across Siemens BMS and ABB drives. You will work with Utilities Technicians to maintain equipment, support QA/ GMP records, and drive energy efficiency and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

Trade qualification in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in instrumentation, controls or maintenance.
Experience in a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
Practical HVAC fault-finding across mechanical plant and instrumentation/controls.
Hands-on BMS experience, especially Siemens.
Experience with ABB variable speed drives.

Responsibilities

Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve faults on HVAC control systems and building management systems.
Monitor Siemens BMS, alarms, trends and interlocks; interpret controller data.
Configure and troubleshoot ABB variable speed drives on fans and pumps.
Support installation, commissioning and qualification of new/modified systems.
Maintain CMMS records and GMP-compliant equipment history.
Coordinate with utilities, engineering, operations and vendors.
Maintain critical spares and communication of risks and follow-up actions.
