Merck & Co., Inc. in Ballydine, Ireland seeks a Sr. Specialist in Financial Planning & Analysis on a 23-month contract to support budgeting, forecasting, and governance. You will partner with site leadership to develop, report, and monitor key financial indicators across the organization.

The role emphasizes internal controls, SOX, R&D tax credits, and government grants, with a focus on continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and capital investments. A pharma finance background is preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in the Pharmaceutical industry or similar environment.
• Experience with SAP and BPC.
• Experience in business partnering and FP&A activities.
• Experience preparing applications for Irish grants, subsidies, tax incentives.
• Experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures including SOX compliance.
• Lead the preparation of R&D Tax Credits submissions and government grants claims.
• Provide financial business partnering to leadership teams and departments including budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform Monthly Performance Reporting and explain variances, including monthly close activities.
• Support capital investments and cross-site finance process improvements.
