McDermott Laboratories Limited, a Viatris site, invites recent STEM graduates to join its 2026 Graduate Development Programme designed to build future leaders in pharma.

Launching in September 2026, the two-year programme offers rotations across Production, Automation, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Supply Chain and Regulatory Affairs at Dublin, Cork, Galway sites, with mentorship and hands-on projects to grow technical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with an Honours degree in STEM, 3rd level qualification, 2.1 or higher.
• Proven success in placements, internships, or extracurricular activities.
• Interest in pursuing a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 3 structured rotations across site departments (Production, Automation, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, OpEx, etc.).
• Contribute to day-to-day operations on a pharmaceutical site and on specific projects.
• Receive ongoing mentorship and training from senior colleagues to guide growth.
• Develop technical and business skills in a progressive, innovative environment.
• Attend careers fairs and STEM Ireland events as part of programme activities.
