Job summary

Petmania is recruiting two part-time Sales Associates for our Kilkenny store. The roles suit those who are passionate about retail and helping customers choose the right products for their pets.

We offer around 20 hours per week with more hours possible; availability midweek and at weekends is required. There are opportunities to upskill to become a Dog Groomer.

Qualifications

• Passion for retail and sales, especially in pet products.
• Advantage if studying or qualified in Animal Care (QQI level 5/6).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.
• Use product knowledge to advise customers on pet purchases.
• Provide care in-store and grooming studios as needed.
• Conduct general retail duties like merchandising and housekeeping.
• Assist with stock deliveries and merchandising.

Hourly Salary range:from € 14.45 to € 15.95

Petmania are currently recruiting for two part-time Sales Associate for our Kilkenny store. The ideal candidates will be passionate about retail and sales and be willing and eager to make their mark in the store. In addition to this it is an advantage if you are currently studying or recently qualified in Animal Care to QQI level 5 or 6.

We currently have two 20 hour contracts available however we envisage that more hours will be available each week-please note you must be available mid week as well as weekends

The main tasks you will be responsible for are;

• Sales, sales, sales-we are retailers after all!
• Using the product knowledge we will give you to help customers make the right choices for their pets
• Providing excellent customer care to our valued customers, both in the store and grooming studios
• General retail duties-merchandising, store housekeeping, price and gap checks etc
• Stock management-deliveries and merchandising
