Job summary

Howden Ireland is hiring a Commercial Connected Personal Lines Account Executive to manage a portfolio focused on renewals, client retention and service excellence. You will work closely with the Commercial Handler to deliver a seamless client journey and proactive cross-selling opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance, an APA Personal Lines qualification (or grandfathered status), and strong knowledge of Personal Lines products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an insurance role.
• APA Personal Lines qualification or Grandfathered status.
• Strong Personal Lines technical knowledge and market understanding.
• Proven experience managing policy renewals and client inquiries.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Commercial Connected Personal Lines book with a focus on renewals and retention.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Commercial Handler and clients.
• Act as the primary Personal Lines contact for connected clients, coordinating with the Commercial team.
• Oversee renewals, review cover, negotiate terms, and present suitable options.
• Identify cross-selling, referrals, and new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client and policy records and ensure regulatory compliance.
