Job summary

Our client, an established law firm in Dublin 2, seeks a Personal Injury Paralegal for a fully in-office role within their busy litigation team.

You will support solicitors with instructions, document preparation and court attendance, while maintaining accurate time records and client communications. The role requires at least one year of defence litigation experience and strong IT and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year's litigation experience ideally within defence litigation.
• Ability to use Excel.
• An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Very good communications and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one's own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Taking instructions from solicitors.
• Liaising with the client's or 3rd party solicitors in relation to queries.
• Attending court as required.
• Carry out legal research on cases as assigned.
• Assist in the preparation and collation of briefs.
• Liaise with clients as required by the supervising Solicitor.
• Provide support for all administration tasks as required, including photocopying, filing of documents.
• Ensure all time is recorded- both chargeable & non chargeable
• General handling of files post completion.
• Releasing title documents and scheduling title documents.
• Adhere to data classifications and handling rules
• Report Breach of Policy, Incident or Security Weakness
