Job summary

TTM Healthcare Limited is recruiting a Persons in Charge for the Carroll and Kilkenny locations in a Residential Service for adults with intellectual disabilities. The role is a permanent full-time position, working 39 hours per week with a 5-in-7 roster including one weekend per month and one late evening per week (1pm–9pm).

You will lead the care team, ensure HIQA standards, and drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a third-level qualification at Level 7 or higher in Social Care or Applied Social Care Studies
• Nursing qualification in Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, General or Children’s
• Management qualification is essential
• Registration with CORU (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential care team to deliver high-quality services.
• Ensure HIQA standards and certification are met.
• Drive service improvements and effective resource planning.
• Coordinate weekend and after-hours coverage with the team.
• Maintain strong stakeholder and family communication.

Job description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Persons in Charge for the Carroll and Kilkenny locations on behalf of a Residential Service for adults with Intellectual Disabilities.

These are permanent full time contracts working 39 hours per week. The roster runs 5 days over 7 with 1 weekend required per month and 1 late evening per week (usually 1pm to 9pm).

Premium rates apply for weekend shifts which are usually 8 hours per day where you are on emergency governance.

Salary: €54,699 - €63,977

Qualifications Required

• Must hold a 3rd level qualification of at leave Level 7 In Social Care or Applied Social Care Studies or; A Nursing Qualification – in Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, General or Children’s.
• A relevant Management qualification is essential.
• Registration with CORU (where applicable)

Essential

• Full clean drivers’ licence and own transportation (Manual)

Essential skills and experience:

• 3 Years managerial experience in a health care role.
• Proven practical experience or similar experience in a role of this level.
• Proven knowledge and experience of HIQA standards and Certification.
• Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Evidence of effective resource planning
• The ability to lead the team by example, coaching and supporting individuals
