Job summary

PE Global (UK) is recruiting Health Care Assistants (Intellectual Disability) for permanent, full-time roles at St. Raphael's Centre in Youghal, Co. Cork. You'll support adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in person-centred, community-based services, helping them develop independence and participate in meaningful activities.

This role offers 39 hours per week in a community setting, training and development opportunities, and a pensionable position within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent qualification.
• ID Studies and Activities of Daily Living modules, or willingness to complete them within one year if eligible
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities is highly beneficial
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide person-centred support

Responsibilities

• Support adults with intellectual disabilities in person-centred, community-based services.
• Help individuals develop independence and participate in community activities.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care.
