Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Pension Administration professional to independently manage a portfolio of insured group pension benefits within our Dublin hybrid office. You will liaise with life assurance companies, clients and third parties to ensure timely renewals and accurate documentation.

The role requires QFA and APA qualifications, solid financial services experience, and excellent communication. We offer 25 days leave, health insurance allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, pensions, insurance, or related regulated environment.
  • Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Packages.
  • Able to work with all levels of personnel.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Tier 1 & Tier 2 group pension clients.
  • Liaise with life assurance companies, clients, consultants and third parties.
  • Process insured group pension renewals from pre-renewal to final renewal documents.
  • Handle client correspondence and complex consultant queries.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements and SLAs are met.

Join our Retirement line of business as a Pension Administration - Retirement and work in a hybrid role out of our Dublin office to help deliver top-tier pension administration services to over five million participants worldwide.

This is an opportunity to join our Willis Towers Watson Life and Pensions Administration Team and to be part of a dynamic team working together to build on past performance and to achieve even greater success in the future. The purpose of this role is to independently manage an agreed portfolio of clients in relation to their insured group pension benefits.

The Role
  • You will be managing a portfolio of Tier 1 & Tier 2 group pension clients in relation to their insured group pension benefits.
  • Liaising with life assurance companies, clients, consultants and third parties
  • Acting as first point of contact for the client in respect of their group pension queries
  • Processing insured group pension annual renewals from pre-renewal to issuing final renewal documentation (Annual Member Benefit Statements & Trustee Annual Report)
  • Collate TAR backup and answer audit queries (if required)
  • Managing the workflow system
  • Liaising with the client and insurance company on:
    • Leaving Service Option Statements
    • Member Fund Switches
    • Monthly Contributions
    • New Entrants
    • Refund of Contributions (Employer and Employee)
    • Transfers In (exclusive of overseas transfers)
    • Transfers Out (exclusive of overseas transfers)
    • Standard Retirements
    • Dealing with PAOs
  • Managing client correspondence (In and Out)
  • Complex consultant queries
  • Liaise with the WTW group risk administrator where required when processing scheme renewals / member claims
  • Processing death claims & liaising with the group risk administrator where required
  • Ensuring regulatory requirements, compliance deadlines and service level agreements are adhered to throughout daily processes
  • Manage confidential information
  • Adhering to all data protection requirements
  • Attend client meetings / conference calls as required
  • Training of new staff
What you'll bring
  • QFA qualification is desirable, with APA (Accredited Product Adviser) qualification required.
  • Proven industry experience within financial services, pensions, insurance, or a related regulated environment.
  • Experience in a Life and Pensions Brokerage or Product Provider desirable
  • Excellent PC skills -Microsoft Packages
  • Be able to work with all levels of personnel
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to prioritise and work under time pressures
  • Good attention to detail.
