Job summary

Alldus is seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to join a cyber security team on a six-month contract. The role focuses on hands-on testing across web applications, APIs, cloud environments, and infrastructure, with exposure to Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

You will identify and document vulnerabilities, produce detailed reports, and work with Dev and Security teams to drive remediation and retesting, while supporting broader vulnerability management initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience.
• Strong web app and API testing capabilities.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and CI/CD security.
• Solid understanding of OWASP and attack methodologies.
• Experience producing technical reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We are working with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to join their Cyber Security team on a six-month contract.

The role will focus on hands-on penetration testing across web applications, APIs, cloud environments and infrastructure, with the opportunity to work across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct penetration testing across web applications, APIs, cloud and infrastructure.
• Identify, exploit and document vulnerabilities, providing clear remediation advice.
• Perform security testing across Azure/AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD environments.
• Produce detailed penetration testing reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Work with development and security teams to support remediation and retesting.
• Support wider cyber security and vulnerability management activities as required.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years' experience in penetration testing/offensive security.
• Strong web application and API penetration testing experience.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and CI/CD security.
• Strong understanding of OWASP and common attack methodologies.
• Experience producing technical reports and communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.
• OSCP, CREST, OSWE or similar certification.
• Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap and Kali Linux.

The Ideal Candidate:

A hands-on Penetration Tester with strong application, API and cloud security experience. The ideal candidate will be technically capable, proactive and confident communicating vulnerabilities and remediation recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
