Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an experienced Application Penetration Tester in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (Hybrid after training).

You will perform in-depth tests of web, mobile, and API security, guide development teams on remediations, and produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations. Ideal candidates have several years in penetration testing, strong OWASP WSTG knowledge, and certifications such as BSCP/OSCP.

Qualifications

• A few years industry experience in Application Penetration Testing such as web, mobile & API.
• Strong understanding of the OWASP WSTG and its testing methodologies.
• Proficient in CVSS calculation to prioritise remediation.
• Able to communicate clear remediation advice to clients.
• Experience with Burp Suite Pro, Jira, ServiceNow and DAST tools.
• Experience in iOS and Android penetration testing.
• Industry certifications such as BSCP, HTB CPTS, OSCP.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth manual App Penetration Testing of web, mobile apps and APIs.
• Conduct scoping conversations with the client to define scope and requirements.
• Prepare reports detailing vulnerabilities and remediation recommendations.
• Retest vulnerabilities after remediation to verify fixes.
• Maintain client trust with clear communication and guidance.
• Share ideas to improve testing methodologies and processes.
• Research latest and emerging security threats.
