Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. is seeking an outpatient float physical therapist to support our PT teams across Close to Home locations in the greater Columbus area.

The role involves evaluating patients for physical therapy, developing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and families on goals, plans, and home programs. Clinicians will coordinate care, document progress, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Evaluates patients to determine developmental or functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations.
• Develops individualized treatment plans and administers therapeutic treatment.
• Educates patients and families on goals, therapy plans, and home exercise programs.
• Maintains patient records, scheduling, and timely documentation as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients with varied diagnoses to determine developmental or functional status and establishes goals.
• Develops and administers therapeutic treatments to improve development, function and independence.
• Fabricates or recommends adaptive equipment and educates on home programs.
• Documents results and maintains caseload management and departmental education initiatives.
