Job summary

ElevenLabs, a remote-first AI research and product company, is hiring to own core payroll systems, equity administration, and reporting across entities. You will drive accurate payroll cycles across workers and currencies while managing equity programs and compliance, collaborating with People, Legal, Finance, and Tax.

The role sits at the intersection of multiple functions in a fast‑growing global company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering equity plans in an international setting (RSUs, stock options, taxable events).
• Experience managing global payroll operations via Deel or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of payroll and tax considerations related to equity compensation.

Responsibilities

• Manage global payroll operations across direct employees, EORs, and contractors, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant pay cycles.
• Assist in preparing payroll-to-cash and payroll-to-ERP reconciliations, supporting month-end close.
• Administer global equity programs in Carta, including grants, vesting, exercises, and related events.
• Maintain data consistency across HiBob, Carta, Deel, and ERP systems through reconciliations and exception reviews.
• Support audits and external advisors with accurate, well-documented operational data.

About the role

You’ll own the core systems, processes, and reporting that power our global payroll operations and equity administration. You’ll run accurate, compliant payroll cycles across multiple entities, worker types, and currencies, and manage the operational lifecycle of equity programs and related taxable events.

This role sits at the intersection of People, Legal, Finance, and Tax, where you’ll ensure data integrity, assist in performing reconciliations through to cash and ERP, and strengthen our compensation and payroll infrastructure as the company grows rapidly.

• Manage global payroll operations across direct employees, EORs (Employer of Record), and contractors, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant pay cycles.

• Assist in preparing and performing payroll‑to‑cash and payroll‑to‑ERP (GL) reconciliations, supporting month‑end close.

• Administer global equity programs in Carta, including grants, vesting, exercises, platform maintenance, and equity‑related taxable events.

• Maintain data consistency across HiBob, Carta, Deel, and ERP systems through reconciliations and exception reviews.

• Support audits and external advisors with accurate, well‑documented operational data.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience administering equity plans in an international setting (e.g. RSUs, stock options, taxable events).

• Experience managing global payroll operations via Deel (including direct employees, EORs, and contractors) or similar global payroll platforms.

• Strong understanding of payroll and tax considerations related to equity compensation.

• Exceptional attention to detail, operational rigor, and ownership mindset.

• Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

• Comfortable partnering cross‑functionally with People, Finance, Legal, Tax, and external vendors independently in a high‑velocity environment and collaborating across Legal, People, Finance, Tax, and external vendors.

Bonus:

• Experience operating in SOX or AICPA/PCAOB audit environments.

• Experience automating workflows or optimizing integrations between HRIS, payroll systems, and equity platforms.

• Background working in global, high‑growth technology companies.

Location

This role is remote‑first, so it can be executed from anywhere globally, with the ability to operate between GMT‑5 to GMTx+2 timezones required / preferred. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in Dublin, London, New York, and Warsaw.
