Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Implementation Manager for the Merchant Services team to guide clients through onboarding and implement payment solutions. You will coordinate across clients and internal teams, manage timelines and risks, and ensure a transparent, high-quality implementation experience from start to finish.

You will build detailed plans, communicate status updates, and enable clients and partners with product knowledge, driving strong partnerships and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in client-facing or project management roles.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a focus on client experience.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail across documentation and project tracking.
• Sound business judgment and a results-oriented approach to problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client implementations as the primary point of contact throughout onboarding.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
• Build and maintain detailed implementation plans in partnership with clients and internal teams.
• Communicate clear project status updates, next steps, and key decisions to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate completion and submission of required sales and client information documentation.
• Set expectations early and maintain transparency on scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• Apply project management practices to drive execution, resolve issues, and remove roadblocks.
• Maintain a strong controls mindset, escalating risks and issues appropriately to protect clients and the firm.
• Develop product knowledge and provide guidance, enablement, and training to clients and internal partners.
