Job summary

Google's gTech Users and Products team (gUP) seeks a skilled technical professional to resolve data and tooling challenges, optimize workflows, and deliver scalable solutions for Google products. You will partner with Product Managers and Software Engineers to drive improvements across systems.

Based in Ireland, the role offers €90,000–€92,000 salary, a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits, with flexible locations including Dublin or London.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with web technologies, databases, SQL, and programming in Java, Python, or C/C++.
• 2 years of experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows systems.
• Experience delivering technical projects and making technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve complex technical problems around data and tools access.
• Identify opportunities to optimise and automate workflows across projects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve Google tools and products.
• Work with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code and improve troubleshooting.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external users.
