Job summary

Qualifications

• Education must enable satisfactory performance and training as a Firefighter.
• Good character; references and Garda Vetting as required.
• Age 18+ on first application day; birth certificate proof.
• Valid full Category B driving licence; ideally Category C for HGV.
• Health adequate for regular and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Attend fires and other emergencies and respond to calls as required.
• Fulfill duties to save lives and property; comply with crew rules.
• Adhere to Crew Management Arrangements for Retained Firefighters.
• Keep fire station clean and equipment maintained.
• Attend training courses and perform assigned duties, including driving.
