Job description

O'Donoghue Ring Collection is hiring through Hosco in Killarney. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Receptionist position within the O'Donoghue Ring Collection. This role is based on a 24-hour per week contract and is ideal for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual who enjoys interacting with people and delivering a high standard of guest service in a busy hospitality environment.

What you’ll do:

• Manage all reception duties, working as part of the wider Front Office Team.
• Ensure the guests are completely satisfied through the prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Anticipate guests' needs and ensure that service is provided to the level they require and beyond their expectations.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within all front office departments.
• Answer the switchboard and hotel telephone as per the company standard of service.
• Develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments.

About you:

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• A team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the luxury hospitality market.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A knowledge of the Opera Cloud operating system would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Fluent English language skills are essential.
