Job summary

Monahan's Fuels & Garden Centre in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, is seeking part-time flexible delivery drivers for 7 days a week. We can work around days that suit you and plan with customers accordingly.

Role involves home and business deliveries nationwide using a 3.5 ton truck; full-day and half-day hours and rates available.

Applicants must have a clean B license, be 23+, have good manners, strong communication and problem solving, and be able to use Google Maps; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have valid clean B car driving license as 3.5 ton truck can be driven on car license.
• Must be 23 years or older due to insurance.
• Experience operating a tail lift and electric pallet truck preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• Must have excellent manners and politeness as deliveries are to customers homes.
• Must have excellent communication & problem solving skills.
• Must have access to Google maps via phone or sat nav.
• Must be willing to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
• Must have good time management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pallets of Firewood or Outdoor Furniture to homes and businesses.
• Most deliveries are home deliveries, requiring a friendly customer-facing approach.
• Coordinate routes and schedule with customers to plan deliveries effectively.
