Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at North Wall Quay, Dublin 1. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 1:00pm–5:00pm) with a pay rate of €14.93 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is required.
• Positive, professional and respectful approach.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic food-handling knowledge.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean and sanitise work surfaces, cooking equipment and kitchen areas.
• Clean and maintain food storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
• Receive and organise deliveries using FIFO stock rotation.
• Wash dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment.
• Remove and dispose of kitchen waste safely and correctly.
• Support the Chef with basic food preparation when required.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming approach when interacting with customers.
• Follow all relevant health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
