Job summary

Corlann is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Support Worker for Rindoon Services in Athlone, Kilteevan or Roscommon Town. The role will support people with daily living, promote independence and help them participate in community life across residential settings or day services.

The successful candidate needs a good general education, a QQI Level 5 qualification (or higher), and a full clean driving licence. IT skills and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Good general education is required, with a qualification in intellectual disability or a FETAC level 5 course advantageous.
• Possession of a Class D1 driving licence may be required; assistance will be given to obtain it.
• Experience with intellectual disability/autism/complex needs is desirable but training will be provided.
• Fluency in verbal and written English and IT skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living to promote independence and skill development.
• Assist with personal care, meals, household tasks and related well-being activities.
• Participate in everyday community life through inclusive and creative delivery.
• Maintain flexibility to meet service needs across settings.
