Job summary

Darraglynn Nursing Home in Douglas, Cork, is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our household team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role primarily supports the cleaning team, deep cleaning areas of the building weekly and covering holidays as required.

Qualifications

Darraglynn Nursing Home is a purpose-built facility in Douglas, Cork. We care for 26 residents in our single-story building, set in mature landscaped gardens. We are currently looking for someone reliable and flexible to join our household team.

Role description:

We are seeking someone to work primarily in conjunction with the cleaning team, deep cleaning different areas of the building on a weekly basis. From time to time, the candidate will be required to cover holidays.

As such, full flexibility is required.

Cleaning;

• Deep cleaning of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home

• Following infection prevention and control guidelines and procedures

Requirements:
